This is Dakota - he's half Chocolate Lab and half Redbone Hound; no, I'm not even going to try and explain... :-)

Dakota was born on Thanksgiving of 2004; he originally belonged to my wife's cousin (her hound dog is Kota's mother), but he decided early on that he liked me and Marla. We both love dogs, so we couldn't turn the little guy away...

As surprising as it may be, Jade and Dakota get along just fine; in fact, I think they'd both get lonely if they were ever separated...
